Travellers
Travellers may bring personal belongings into the Zone free of duty. The following limits apply to each adult.

| Cash | Sums over USD 10,000 or the equivalent in som must be declared |
Restricted goods
- Firearms and ammunition: only with a permit from the Ministry of Internal Security.
- Horses and livestock: veterinary certificate and the fees at the crossing.
- Ore and minerals: not permitted without papers from a licensed works.
- Narcotics: prohibited.
Travellers crossing the line from the tribal side need a travel permit registered by the Gendarmerie.
