Customs at the first meeting of the working group on livestock and cotton

Representatives of the Customs Service took part in the first meeting of the joint working group on livestock and cotton shipments, held in Tash-Kömür under the memorandum with Uzbekistan. The Uzbek side was represented by officials of the customs and veterinary services of the neighbouring regions.

The parties discussed the papers required for herds driven across the frontier and for raw cotton, and agreed to exchange lists of the documents each side requires. The next meeting is planned for the autumn.
