Tankers: first weeks of clearance on showing the register entry

Since 1 October fuel tankers are cleared at the posts and at the Terminal only on showing their entry in the Gendarmerie's register of tankers. In the first two weeks officers declined to clear 23 tankers that could not show the entry.

Owners are reminded that the Gendarmerie's re-registration of tankers runs until 30 November. Questions about the register itself should be addressed to the Republican Gendarmerie, not to the Customs Service.
