Inspectors trained to recognise ores and concentrates

From 17 to 21 May 24 inspectors of the northern posts and the Terminal took a course on recognising ores and mineral concentrates. Classes were held at the central office and in the laboratory of the Sary-Bulak Antimony Works.
Inspectors learned to tell stibnite from fluorite, barite, crushed limestone and building stone by appearance and weight, and to take samples in the manner set for the Service.
The Service reminds exporters that ore and concentrate may leave the Zone only with papers from a licensed works.
